Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai recognises Dubai Police Medical Referral Team at special appreciation ceremony

[:en]25 June 2015 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates): The management and medical team of Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai (Moorfields) has awarded certificates of appreciation to representatives of Dubai Police including the Medical Referral Team, in recognition of the outstanding support and professionalism demonstrated by the Dubai Police team. The certificates were presented by the Managing Director of Moorfields at a special recognition ceremony held at the hospital, recently.
Dubai Police and Moorfields have been working in a service partnership since 2013 during which the hospital has treated police staff and family members, as well as supporting education and screening programmes. The Medical Referral Team has played a crucial role in referring Dubai Police patients to Moorfields, and liaising between the partners. Moorfields welcomed three members of the team for the ceremony, including Lt Dr Rashed Abdallah Al Jaree.
Speaking at the special appreciation ceremony, Mr. Mariano Gonzalez, Managing Director of Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, said: “Moorfields is delighted to mark the successful partnership between Dubai Police and Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, with this special appreciation ceremony.
